Head of Student Administration

Reporting to the Director of Student and Academic Services, the successful candidate will provide strategic leadership for the Student Administration team and specifically for the Admission, Student Records and Assessment functions, ensuring a comprehensive and inclusive provision.
The function has responsibility for the central administration of all applicant and student records and for providing related services to applicants, students and staff. The remit covers a range of matters from student admission through to graduation to include programme and module registration; student loans; academic timetable preparation; assessment and examination scheduling, results processing, student progression and award.
The postholder will be responsible for implementing institutional strategy, for the review and enhancement of policies and processes and will lead and advise on statutory and other legal requirements for their area of responsibility.
The successful applicant will have substantial senior professional level experience within a Higher Education Institution and a strong track record of leading, motivating and developing teams to achieve organisational objectives. Candidates will be able to demonstrate the ability to think strategically and make decisions.
